CB's Nuts is the inspiration of Clark Bowen, a lifelong peanut fan. As a child peanuts were his go-to snack - one he didn't have to ask his mom for - and after consuming thousands of peanuts he noticed variations in quality and freshness. It became his quest to find consistently delicious fresh roasted peanuts.

Over the past decade Clark has traveled through the peanut-growing regions, studying the crop and the producers. He has worked with other roasters at farmer's markets in California to understand roasting techniques, and he has perfected a lightly salted in-shell peanut.

We were thrilled to be featured on the Cooking Channel's second season of FoodCrafters in November 2010 You can watch the video on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VTD_FUim2s . They highlight the unique method of small batch processing we developed that allows us to infuse a light sea salt taste through the peanut shells and into the beans. All of our products are roasted in small batches with custom made equipment. Our craftsmen roasters focus on emphasizing the delicous flavors of fresh roasted nuts.

We have expanded our original line of in-shell peanuts, organic peanut butter and organic pistachios to also include cashews, hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, mixed nuts and organic pumpkin seeds.

All of our lightly salted nuts are dry roasted with sea salt (no oils added in processing). We roast all of our nuts from raw at our production facility and retail shop in Kingston, Washington - please come see us if you're in the area.
